There are many ways you can make a Big Difference in a child's life, through your financial support.  Choices include honoring a loved one, making a memorial gift in memory of a loved one, making a generous contribution by check, donating stocks, bonds, life insurance, real estate, or mutual funds, or designating Big Brothers Big Sisters Services in your estate plan. Gifts of Securities 
You can make a Big Difference in a child's life by making a gift of stocks or bonds to Big Brothers Big Sisters. You may also gain tax advantages by giving appreciated stocks or bonds to Big Brothers Big Sisters, because of the nonprofit status of the agency.

Planned Giving 
Planned giving is a way for you to leave a legacy to ensure that in the future children continue to be matched with Big Brother and Big Sister mentors. Planned gifts will usually come from a donor's assets rather than income, and can be either outright or deferred. Your financial, tax and estate planning objectives will be the framework for your decision to make a planned gift.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Services has an endowment established at the Winston-Salem Foundation where planned gifts may be directed. You will want to consult with your tax and/or legal advisor before making a planned gift.

Choices for planned giving include: Gifts by will, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Reminder Trust, Pooled Income Fund, Heritage Club.

Honor Donations
By honoring someone with a contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters Services, you will demonstrate that you care, both about the person honored, and what is important in life. A card will be sent to the person(s) honored informing them of your gift. A thank you letter will also be sent to you.

What a wonderful way to honor someone for a birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding, Christmas or other holiday or event. Your gift will make a Big Difference in the life of a child.

Please be sure to send us the name and mailing address of the person(s) honored as well as your name and address.  Honor donations may be mailed here.

Memorial Donations 
In memory of a loved one or special friend, give a gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters. Your gift will be in memory of a loved one or friend. A card will be sent to the family informing them of your gift. A thank you letter will also be sent to you.

On such a solemn occasion, a contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters Services recognizes the promise and hope of life. Your gift will make a Big Difference in the life of a child.
