The Roderica Nicole McLaurin Grant.
Nicole was the epitome of our mission. In the late ‘80s, she was a Little Sister in our program and remained in contact with her Big Sister for 30 years. After graduating from college, Nicole honorably served at our agency as a staff member, working in recruitment and program management before expanding her career outside of BBBS in 2017.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to announce The Roderica “Nicole” McLaurin Grant in honor of her memory and commitment to serve. This grant aims to provide $500 to at least one graduating Little or Big Sister of color each school year, encouraging girls in our program to achieve their highest potential.
